Delta Flight Caught Fire During Take-Off Over Los Angeles

A Delta Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Los Angeles airport after one of its engines caught fire during take-off. The Boeing 767-400 aircraft, heading to Atlanta, experienced a problem with the left engine and circled back around before touching down safely on the runway.

Video footage captured by passenger Josh, who co-owns a YouTube channel called LA Flights with Peter, shows the plane ascending over Los Angeles when flames began to emerge from the left engine. The incident was caused by an issue with the aircraft’s engine, according to Delta Airlines spokesperson.

The airline confirmed that flight 446 returned to Los Angeles shortly after departure due to the problem and landed safely. An investigation into the cause of the incident is ongoing.
