Delta Flight Returns to Boston After Smoky Odor in Cabin

A Delta Air Lines flight bound for New Orleans, carrying 87 passengers and crew members, returned to Boston Logan International Airport on Sunday after a “smoky odor” was detected in the cabin. The plane, DL1398, made an emergency landing shortly after takeoff to get priority handling from air traffic control. Three people were treated at the scene, while one person was taken to the hospital for further medical attention.
