Delta Plane Crashes in Toronto, 21 Injured

A dramatic video has emerged showing the moment a Delta plane crashed and caught fire upon landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday. Twenty-one people were taken to hospitals after the crash, with 19 having since been released.

The CRJ 900 aircraft, operated by Endeavor Air, was flying from Minneapolis when it landed in snow-covered conditions, causing it to erupt in flames. The plane rolled onto its side and eventually came to a stop upside-down on the runway.

Passengers described the experience as “sudden” and “terrifying,” with some saying they felt like they were “hanging like bats.” Miraculously, everyone on board survived, but not without injuries.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is leading the investigation into the incident, which is being assisted by the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board. Delta CEO Ed Bastian expressed his concern for those affected, saying the airline’s priority was taking care of its customers and crew members involved in the crash.
