He suggested that Parsons’ frequent social media use might be a distraction and questioned whether winning or tweeting is more important to him. Lawrence has expressed a desire to return to the Cowboys in the past, citing his family ties and love for the city.
The three-year deal with the Seahawks included $18 million in guaranteed money and could peak at $42 million. Lawrence will also count $7.445 million against the Cowboys’ cap in 2025. With four Pro Bowl appearances and 61.5 career sacks under his belt, Lawrence is confident that he still has more to give.
A potential playoff matchup between the Seahawks and Cowboys is now uncertain due to the three-year deal, which will prevent them from facing each other during the regular season.
