Demi Moore Provides Update on Bruce Willis’ Frontotemporal Dementia Diagnosis

Actress Demi Moore has given an update on the health of her ex-husband Bruce Willis, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) last year. The 69-year-old actor is currently in a stable condition.

Moore spoke to CNN about Willis’ diagnosis, saying it’s essential for those dealing with FTD to “meet them where they’re at” and show love and joy. She also emphasized the importance of being present in the moment and not taking any time for granted.

Willis was first diagnosed with aphasia, a language disorder caused by brain damage, in March 2022. However, his family later received a clearer diagnosis of FTD, stating it’s likely more prevalent than known due to delayed diagnoses.

As of now, there are no treatments available for the disease, but Moore’s ex-husband’s family hopes that media attention can raise awareness and support research into FTD. They also highlighted Bruce’s commitment to using his voice to help others and raise awareness about important issues.

Willis’ daughter Tallulah recently shared her father’s condition, stating there are “painful days” but also a lot of love. She emphasized the importance of being present in the moment and cherishing time with loved ones, particularly her dad.
