Demi Moore Updates on Bruce Willis’ Health, Emphasizes Love and Acceptance

Demi Moore has given an update on her ex-husband Bruce Willis’ health, revealing that his condition remains “stable” despite being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD). In an interview with Christiane Amanpour on CNN, Moore discussed the challenges of watching her loved one deal with the disease.

Moore, 62, acknowledged that it’s difficult to witness Bruce Willis, 69, struggle with aphasia and FTD. “It’s very difficult and not what I would wish upon anyone,” she said. However, she also emphasized the importance of finding beauty in the situation. “There is such loving and joy,” she added.

Moore credits their supportive dynamic for helping her cope with the situation. The couple shares three daughters together, as well as two younger daughters with Bruce’s wife Emma Heming Willis. “We’re a family, just in a different form,” Moore explained, highlighting the importance of recognizing that their bond remains strong despite the challenges they face.

Moore also spoke about her own journey towards self-acceptance and finding joy in her aging process. Her middle daughter Scout shared similar sentiments, saying she wants to focus on celebrating what she is rather than wasting time on perceived flaws.

The couple’s love and acceptance for each other have been a source of strength during this difficult time. As Moore put it, “That has been very important to me… And I’m grateful, ’cause it’s not just me — it has to require everybody to be coming together.”
