Demi Moore Wins SAG Award for Best Actress

Demi Moore won the top honor at the 31st annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, taking home the prize for her work in The Substance. The award marks a significant milestone for Moore, who credited her early membership with the Screen Actors Guild – which she received at 15 years old in 1978 – as changing her life and giving her purpose.

Moore’s speech honored her fellow actors and thanked them for being her greatest teachers. She expressed gratitude to her team and acknowledged that without their support, she wouldn’t be able to continue her career. The win caps off a strong awards season start for Moore, who also took home the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical Film earlier this month.

Other notable winners included Pamela Anderson, Cynthia Erivo, Karla Sofía Gascón, and Mikey Madison, all of whom received nominations for their respective films. The SAG Awards ceremony was hosted by Kristen Bell and took place on February 23 at the Shrine Auditorium.
