The Detroit Lions have added another piece to their powerful offense with the selection of LSU offensive lineman Miles Frazier in the fifth round (171st overall) of the NFL Draft. To make this pick, the Lions traded away two picks, including a sixth-round selection, to New England.
Frazier, a three-year starter at LSU, primarily played right guard but also took snaps at right tackle and left guard. He was also part of the backup unit for both positions. The 6’5″ lineman is coming into an organization with high expectations and has already developed relationships with his new teammates, including defensive tackle Mehki Wingo.
In college, Frazier was nearly unstoppable, allowing only four sacks in three seasons as part of LSU’s ‘bomb squad’. He played in every game over the last four seasons, earning 51 starts, and will aim to join the ranks of the Lions’ elite offensive line units.
