Greek shipping giant Diana Shipping has teamed up with Star Bulk to increase its bid for US-based rival Genco Shipping & Trading. The revised offer of $23.50 per share values the company at around $1 billion, marking a significant escalation in the acquisition battle between the two bulker companies.
