Diddy Accused of Forced Labor and Assault

Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a growing criminal case ahead of his trial this spring, with the U.S. government adding new allegations against him. The latest superseding indictment claims Combs subjected employees to forced labor under inhumane circumstances, forcing them to work long hours with minimal sleep using physical and psychological harm.

The indictment alleges that Combs maintained control over employees at his business empire and used threats of job loss, financial harm, and reputational damage to coerce compliance. One former employee reportedly alleged that Combs used physical force, psychological harm, and financial pressure to compel them to engage in sex acts with him.

Combs’ lead attorney has denied the charges, stating that his client is innocent and will prove it in court. However, multiple women have filed lawsuits against Combs alleging assault and abuse, including an ex-girlfriend who recently settled her claims. The case has raised concerns about Combs’ treatment of employees and associates, with many standing by him despite the allegations.

Combs faces dozens of sex crimes charges and is currently jailed ahead of his trial on May 5. If you or someone you know has experienced sexual violence, RAINN’s National Sexual Assault Hotline offers free, confidential support at 800.656.HOPE (4673) and Hotline.RAINN.org.
