A former assistant to Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is testifying under a pseudonym, continued her testimony on Friday, revealing more details about the alleged sexual assault she suffered at his hands.
Mia shared more social media posts from Combs’ birthday celebrations, showing how she documented the events despite recognizing their significance as traumatic moments in her life. Defense attorney Brian Steel asked Mia why she remained employed by Combs for an extended period despite alleging physical and emotional abuse.
Mia explained that she is a people pleaser who wants to make others happy, but acknowledged being in an abusive relationship with “a cycle of violence.” She stated that she was young, manipulated, and eager to survive during the time of the alleged assault.
“I’m unraveling this now in therapy,” Mia said. “Nobody told me those things were wrong, so I was always trying to find a way not to be in trouble.”
Mia denied making up her allegations, responding truthfully to Steel’s questioning about whether Combs had non-consensual contact with her. She stated that she has “not lied to anyone at all” and is committed to honesty.
The testimony also revealed Mia’s emotional attachment to Revolt Film, where she worked before its shutdown in 2016. Leaving the company felt like “the worst thing in the world,” as it was her only life experience.
