Sean “Diddy” Combs has rejected the accusations made against him in a new documentary about his life, released on Peacock. In a statement to Newsweek, Diddy’s attorneys said that the documentary includes unchecked claims and baseless conspiracy theories without evidence.
The lawyers claimed that many of those who claim to have knowledge about Diddy lack connection to the truth and are spreading unfounded theories that are sensationalized to appear factual. They also stated that Diddy denies these false allegations, which they say are damaging, defamatory, and not backed by reliable evidence.
Diddy’s attorneys emphasized that he deserves a fair trial before an unbiased jury, free from the influence of these unfounded allegations. They believe that truth, not fiction, will prevail in court.
The documentary features interviews with several members of Diddy’s circle discussing their interactions with him. However, some claims made by those interviewed raise concerns about Diddy’s behavior. An unidentified man claimed that Diddy was involved in making love and sex in a red room, and an unknown woman called him a “monster”. Another woman said she could be sold to anyone.
Diddy is currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, on allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering. He also faces over 25 legal claims alleging sexual assault, with his trial scheduled for May 5 in New York.
