According to Jane, who is suing Combs for allegedly emotional distress, their relationship started with an open discussion about his polyamorous lifestyle. However, she claimed the rapper later made her feel obligated to participate in the “hotel nights” due to threats about stopping rent payments.
Jane also testified that Combs hosted “sobriety parties,” which included ecstasy and cocaine use, but only allowed one of them before pursuing rehab. The woman described these events as emotionally excruciating and said she was worried about her partner’s health due to excessive partying and pill consumption.
The jury saw photos of Diddy at a sushi spot, Nobu, on the night of one of the “hotel nights,” and text messages between Jane and Combs discussing deleting social media posts. The woman expressed hurt that Gina, another girlfriend, could post but she couldn’t.
Jane’s testimony has taken a tense turn after her cross-examination with Diddy’s lawyer, who questioned her about gifts and money received from the rapper. However, the defense team was criticized for attacking the credibility of their own witness, Bryana “Bana” Bongolan, who claimed Combs dangled her off a balcony in 2016.
