Diddy’s Former Assistant Testifies of Career Threats and Abuse Allegations

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former assistant, now testifying under the pseudonym “Mia,” continued her testimony on Friday, May 30, claiming that the music mogul once threatened to ruin her career. The trial, which is the 13th day of high-profile federal sex trafficking charges against Combs, revealed a series of tense messages and missed calls between Mia and Combs’ team in October 2015.

Mia was in South Africa with Combs’ girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, at the time. When Ventura learned that Combs was seeing another woman, Gina Huynh, Ventura refused to speak with him. In response, Combs and his then-chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, tried to reach out to Ventura through her.

Mia testified that she received panicked messages, including one from Khorram saying “Spiral. Call me please.” Mia responded by saying she didn’t want to talk to Combs because he was slurring and making irrational threats, including claims of damaging her career. A message from Combs read, “You don’t call me now f— it all. Imma tell everything. You have 2 min. F— her.”

Mia claimed the “everything” referred to him allegedly sexually assaulting her while claiming it was consensual. Another part of the message said, “F— abc and all lawyers,” which Mia stated was a reference to a comedy project she sold to the network that Combs threatened to have scuttled. The project never aired.

Combs faces up to life in prison if convicted of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, please contact the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673) or go to rainn.org.
