Sean Combs, 55, is currently waiting for his sentencing at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after being acquitted of sex-trafficking and racketeering charges but convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, has revealed that Combs has had to deal with “horrible things” while behind bars.
Combs’ team is trying to secure a $50 million bail package, which would allow him to stay at his Miami-based mansion ahead of sentencing. However, his lawyers are also exploring the possibility of a pardon, despite U.S. President Donald Trump’s initial reluctance due to Combs’ previous comments about him.
Agnifilo shared that he personally sees his client often and that Combs misses going outside, as well as being with his seven children, who have provided support throughout his legal battles. Despite the tough situation, Agnifilo suggests that Combs remains confident that he’ll be released from prison at some point.
