Sean “Diddy” Combs will face sentencing on October 3 after being found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The music mogul, who was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges, could receive up to ten years in prison. Combs has been held at the federal Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest last September. He had requested an earlier sentencing date, but ultimately agreed to October 3. The judge denied his request for bail after he told jurors that there was violence involved in the case during his closing arguments. Combs faces dozens of civil lawsuits, which he denies.
