A jury has heard a recording of a conversation between Kristina Khorram, Sean Combs’ former chief of staff, and Jonathan Perez, his former assistant. The discussion centered around the discovery of a sexually explicit video on Combs’ iPad in his Los Angeles home.
According to the recording, Khorram asked Perez about how the video was found. Perez said that a videographer discovered it first, then he saw it. He told Khorram that when he saw the video, he informed Combs and suggested they delete it.
Combs deleted the video after being informed of its existence by Perez. The conversation revealed that Combs believed his phone or data may have been compromised and requested an investigation into the incident.
It is unclear whether the investigation actually took place. Perez claimed to have never spoken about the incident again, but Combs’ head of security asked him about it later. Additionally, Combs’ chef was present when the video was discovered, however Perez did not disclose this information as he had initially omitted her name from his account, hoping the incident wouldn’t escalate.
