Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial has entered its fourth week in a Southern District of New York courtroom. The Bad Boy Records founder is charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs has pleaded not guilty.
A disturbance erupted in the courtroom on Tuesday when a woman yelled profanities at Combs, prompting Judge Arun Subramanian to order her removal. The heckler claimed Combs was “laughing at a black man’s legacy” before being silenced by court security. During the brief interruption, testimony from a former security worker, Eddy Garcia, resumed.
The trial has featured high-profile witnesses like Casandra “Cassie” Ventura and Kid Cudi, as well as allegations of sexual assault. The trial continues in downtown Manhattan.
