Disney’s highly anticipated sequel to 2010’s Tron: Legacy, Tron: Ares, has released its first trailer. The film follows a sophisticated program named Ares as it enters the real world on a perilous mission marking humanity’s first encounter with AI beings.
Starring Evan Peters and Jeff Bridges alongside Jared Leto and Greta Lee, the movie is directed by Joachim Rønning and set to hit theaters on October 10. The film’s score features music from Nine Inch Nails, who composed their first music for a film under the moniker.
The sequel will also include new original songs from the band, which are embarking on a headlining tour in June for the first time in three years.
