Disney has announced a series of updates across its theme parks. A teenager who went missing at Universal CityWalk was found safe and sound. In addition, Disney animator Jason Peltz will be appearing at an EPCOT Pin Kiosk on February 11 to showcase limited edition pins celebrating Walt Disney World’s 25th Anniversary.
At Magic Kingdom, construction is underway for a new Disney Vacation Club member lounge and facade work continues on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The TRON Identity Program has also begun accepting walk-up guests at the park.
EPCOT will welcome Jason Peltz with new limited edition pins available to celebrate Walt Disney World’s 25th Anniversary. The temporary seating along the path from Toy Story Land to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was removed during construction on a new covered seating area near Woody’s Lunch Box.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Ecorhythmics band has moved to a new location near DinoLand U.S.A. Meanwhile, a new hot pink sequined Minnie Mouse ear headband has arrived at Walt Disney World.
Other updates include the reopening of the Jafar parking lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center, a new seating area themed Red’s Community Garden in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure, and a new Haunted Mansion Lug bag available at Disneyland Resort. A sneak peek was also given into the new Fab Five outfits debuting on May 16 for Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration.
At Universal Studios, construction walls have been set up in Jurassic Park at Islands of Adventure, while a teenager who went missing at Universal CityWalk was found safe and sound after being reported by Orlando police.
