The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim remains open despite ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, which have destroyed over 12,000 structures and killed 23 people. The fires are approximately 35 miles away from Anaheim, with the closest one being the Eaton Fire near Pasadena.
Disneyland Park operates from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., while Disney’s California Adventure is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Downtown Disney shopping and entertainment district is also open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The resort’s location far enough away from the affected areas has allowed it to continue operating as normal.
In response to the fires, Disneyland Resort owner Walt Disney Company has committed $15 million to wildfire relief efforts. However, no visitors have reported any issues with safety or access during their visits.
