DJI is reportedly working on three new drones: the Mini 5 Pro, Avata 3, and Neo 2. Leaked images and a new FCC filing suggest that these drones will feature improved designs, larger cameras, and longer wireless transmission ranges.
The Mini 5 Pro is expected to launch in September with a 33.5Wh battery, surpassing its predecessor’s 18.9Wh capacity. This upgrade could enable video streaming from up to 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) away, rivaling the DJI Mavic 4 Pro’s range.
Additionally, DroneXL has published an FCC filing for a new wearable action camera called the DJI Osmo Nano. The camera appears to have a modular display and is expected to be part of a larger lineup that includes a Mic 3 and Osmo 360 camera.
