DNA Testing Finds No Matches in Nancy Guthrie Case

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has shared an update on the investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, saying that DNA evidence from a glove found near her house was entered into the FBI’s database but did not result in any matches. The department is continuing to analyze additional DNA evidence found at the residence.

Previously, investigators had released surveillance video of an armed, masked suspect at Nancy Guthrie’s front door and described him as a male, approximately 5 feet 9-10 inches tall, with an average build. They also shared images of an Ozark Trail Hiker Pack, which is believed to be the type of backpack worn by the suspect.

The FBI has increased its reward from $50,000 to $100,000 for information leading to Nancy Guthrie’s safe return or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance. Anyone with information is urged to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900.

The investigation has been ongoing for over two weeks, and Savannah Guthrie, Nancy’s daughter, remains hopeful that her mother will be found safe.
