Dodge Unveils New Gas-Powered Muscle Cars with Turbocharged Twist

Dodge has announced the return of gasoline-powered muscle cars with its new Sixpack models, part of the 2026 Charger Scat Pack lineup. The company aimed to bring high-performance power while moving towards a low-emissions future, but found that most buyers preferred traditional V8 engines.

To address this, Dodge opted for turbochargers instead, introducing a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine in the Sixpack models. This power plant is similar to one used in the Ram Truck 1500 RHO model and has been well-received by truck enthusiasts.

The new Charger Scat Pack models will come with two variants: the R/T offering 420 horsepower, priced under $50,000, and the more powerful Scat Pack with 550 horsepower. The cars feature a performance-tuned dual-mode active exhaust, improved suspension, and AWD as standard.
