The second annual Talent Show music festival is coming to downtown Talent on June 27, inspired by New Orleans’ French Quarter Festival. The event will feature a wide range of live music from local, regional, and up-and-coming performers across eight venues. Ana Byers and organizers aim to support local businesses while making the festival affordable and accessible for all ages.
The free festival will run from noon to 7 pm, showcasing genres like bluegrass, jazz, rock, world music, and more. Performers include notable artists such as Jeff Kloetzel, James Keigher & Co., and Somer Dawn. Food options will be available from eateries and food trucks around the city.
The Talent Show was born out of a concert organized by the Talent Business Alliance in 2022 following devastating fires in the area. Byers hopes to continue expanding the festival sustainably, with plans for multi-day events and indoor concerts, while seeking sponsorships.
