Doximity Surpasses Analysts’ Expectations with Strong Q3 Earnings

Doximity, a leading digital platform for US medical professionals, released its fiscal third-quarter earnings on February 6, 2025, exceeding analyst forecasts and its own guidance. The company reported impressive results, with non-GAAP earnings per share (EPS) reaching $0.45, significantly above the estimate of $0.34.

Revenue grew to $168.6 million, a 25% increase from last year, driven by enhanced user engagement and adoption of AI-powered tools. This growth was further fueled by strategic client interactions, with notable milestones including increased subscriptions among pharmaceutical clients and significant activity on its newsfeed, engaging 1 million unique healthcare providers.

The company’s net income jumped to $75.2 million, a 57% year-over-year increase, while margins improved with the gross margin reaching 91.6%. Adjusted EBITDA also rose, surpassing prior guidance of $83-84 million, reaching $102 million.

Despite facing industry challenges such as fierce competition and economic pressures that may impact client spending on marketing and hiring solutions, Doximity’s management remains optimistic, updating its fiscal year-end forecasts with revenue predictions ranging from $564.6 to $565.6 million and an adjusted EBITDA range of $306.6-307.6 million.
