Dubois Stands Firm on Beating Usyk, Eyes Fury Rematch

Daniel Dubois has reaffirmed his focus on beating Oleksandr Usyk in their upcoming fight, dismissing the possibility of a rematch against Tyson Fury. Dubois will face Usyk on July 19 in London for the undisputed heavyweight championship.

In a recent Instagram post, Fury announced he would return to boxing next year and fight Usyk at Wembley Stadium in April 2026. However, Dubois remains committed to his goal of beating Usyk, stating that if Fury wants another shot at becoming undisputed champion, he will have to go through him first.

Dubois expressed confidence in his abilities, saying “I don’t read too much into that really, but if he’s going to come back, he’ll end up fighting me because I’m going to come win all them belts.” When asked about a potential fight against Fury, Dubois remained calm and focused on his current mission, stating “We’ve got one mission at a time” and “I’ve just got to go through them like a hot knife through butter.”

Despite the hype surrounding their potential rivalry, Dubois remains grounded, saying that talk of a rematch goes over his head when he’s in the gym. With the Usyk fight just around the corner, Dubois is looking forward to putting on a show and proving himself as one of the top heavyweights in the division.
