The FDA has issued a recall for over 2 million baked goods due to potential contamination with listeria, affecting products sold at Dunkin’ locations nationwide. The recall includes 60 kinds of pastries distributed by Indiana-based FGF Brands, which also supplies products to grocery stores under private labels.
Specifically, the recalled items include Just Baked Yeast Rings, Just Baked Sour Cream Cake Donuts, and other Dunkin’ branded treats. Listeria infections are rare but serious, particularly for pregnant women, newborns, adults aged 65 or older, and those with weakened immune systems. Symptoms can range from mild to severe and may include fever, muscle aches, fatigue, headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance, and seizures.
Consumers who purchased the recalled items are advised to discard them and contact FGF Brands at 905-761-3333 or info@fgfbrands.com for more information.
