Draft lyrics to Bob Dylan’s iconic song “Mr. Tambourine Man” have sold at a US auction for over half a million dollars, part of a weekend sale featuring dozens of items from the singer-songwriter’s personal collection. The handwritten lyrics, which covered three drafts of the 1965 song, were sold for nearly $1.5 million overall, with other high-selling items including a Dylan-signed oil painting and a custom Fender guitar owned by the legendary artist.
