Electronic Arts (EA) has announced the launch of Battlefield Labs, its most ambitious community collaboration to date. This initiative brings together fans and developers to test the next-generation Battlefield experience in a pre-alpha phase. Vince Zampella, Head of Respawn & Group GM for EA Studios Organization, emphasized the importance of community involvement, stating that this game has “so much potential” and needs player feedback to unlock it.
Battlefield Labs will initially involve an invited group of players on European and North American servers, with plans to expand invitees and server locations in the future. Players can sign up now at battlefield.com/labs and stay updated through published updates from the team.
The program represents a significant step in Battlefield Studios’ development process, which involves EA’s DICE, Ripple Effect, Motive, and Criterion studios. All feedback gathered during the testing phase will influence the creation of the next Battlefield title and future projects.
Players can join the conversation on Discord or stay informed through updates at battlefield.com/labs.
