Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that it will reveal details about its upcoming Battlefield game testing program tomorrow, with fans encouraged to “tune in” on Monday for the news. The company is ramping up its marketing campaign ahead of the game’s release.
According to EA, the new Battlefield game is being developed by multiple internal studios, including DICE, Criterion, and Ripple Effect, with a focus on creating a connected universe set in the modern day. The game has been in development for several years and will feature gameplay built around the series’ unique DNA.
Internal testing cycles have already begun, with EA’s general manager Byron Beede stating that the company has been playing the game nearly daily over the past year. A new community-driven testing program is also planned, which will be announced early next year.
