Eagles Add Syracuse QB Kyle McCord in Sixth Round Draft

The Philadelphia Eagles have bolstered their quarterback depth by selecting Syracuse’s Kyle McCord with the No. 181st pick in the sixth round of the NFL draft.

McCord’s impressive college performance saw him lead FBS and set an ACC record last season with 4,779 passing yards, while leading his team to a 10-win season and a Holiday Bowl victory over Washington State.

He also finished fourth nationally with 34 passing touchdowns and threw 12 interceptions in the same season. McCord’s best season came at Ohio State in 2023, where he threw for 3,170 yards, 24 touchdowns, and six interceptions.

Throughout his career, McCord has completed 66.2% of his pass attempts, accumulating 8,555 passing yards, 61 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions.
