Eagles’ Darius Slay Returns from Elbow Injury

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay made his return to the game after an elbow injury, but was initially questioned about his availability due to the severity of the injury. The injury occurred during a second-quarter interception, where Slay picked off Packers quarterback Jordan Love’s deep shot.

Slay’s teammate, linebacker Nakobe Dean, suffered an apparent injury after making a tackle for loss on Packers tight end Tucker Kraft. The injury forced Dean to be carted off the field, potentially weakening the Eagles’ defensive line.

Despite the injuries and potential shortages, the Eagles remained ahead 10-0 at halftime with no points scored by the Green Bay Packers. However, it was later confirmed that Slay has successfully returned to the game.
