The Boston College Eagles are back in the Beanpot Championship game for the first time since 2019. On February 10, they’ll face off against the #8 ranked Boston University Terriers at TD Garden in Boston.
The matchup is the third of the season between the two teams, and this time, a trophy will be on the line. The Eagles previously swept the Terriers in January, winning 6-2 and 2-0 in Agganis Arena and Conte Forum respectively.
Boston University’s offense is led by the Hutson brothers, who have scored 33 points combined. Quinn and Cole Eiserman lead the team in goals with 16 and 15 respectively. In goal, midseason addition Mikhail Yegorov has taken over from senior Mathieu Caron, posting a .940 save percentage in his last four games.
The Eagles will look to take down the Terriers and claim their first Beanpot Championship since 2019. The game will be broadcast live on NESN, with updates available on Twitter from @bcinterruption and @bc_mhockey.
