Eberechi Eze Departs Crystal Palace After Historic FA Cup Win

Crystal Palace have confirmed that midfielder Eberechi Eze has left the club after a historic season that saw them win their first major trophy in 164 years. The 27-year-old joined Palace from Queens Park Rangers in August 2020 and has become one of the club’s greatest-ever players.

During his time at Palace, Eze scored 40 goals and 28 assists in 169 appearances, including the winner in their FA Cup final victory. He was also a six-time Player of the Month and two-time Goal of the Season winner.

Eze won 12 senior caps for England while playing for Palace and became only the third English international to score a goal in a major competition final. Chairman Steve Parish praised Eze, saying he has been an “incredible presence” at the club and is a “huge inspiration” for the fans of South London.

The club will always hold Eze in their hearts and wish him all the best for his future endeavors. His departure comes as Palace looks to rebuild and move forward with new signings.
