Edge of Eternities Mechanics Overview

Get ready to explore the vastness of space with Edge of Eternities, a new set that brings innovative mechanics to the table. In this article, we’ll break down the key mechanics that will shape your gameplay experience.

**Spacecraft and Stations**

Spacecraft is a new artifact subtype representing warships, freighters, cruisers, and other space-worthy vessels. To activate a station ability, tap an untapped creature on the Spacecraft to add charge counters. Once the Spacecraft has enough charge counters, it becomes a creature with its own power and toughness.

**Warp Ability**

Warp is a new ability that allows cards to travel to the battlefield faster than expected. When casting a card from your hand using Warp, you exile the permanent it becomes at the end of the next turn. Warp can appear on creatures or permanents and usually has abilities that make its brief appearance useful.

**Void Abilities**

Void abilities improve what cards do if a nonland permanent leaves the battlefield this turn or if a spell is warped this turn. These abilities can take many forms, including alternative effects or additional effects.

**Lander Tokens**

A Lander token is a new predefined token type that helps you navigate new planets. Colorless artifact tokens with “Lander” printed on them allow you to explore the vastness of space and uncover its secrets.
