Edible Brands, the parent company of Edible Arrangements, is launching a new marketplace called Edibles.com that specializes in hemp products such as drinks and edibles. The platform will utilize Edible Arrangements’ franchise network to deliver orders.
The 2018 Farm Bill legalized hemp, allowing companies to sell products with THC derived from hemp rather than marijuana. This has led to a surge in demand for hemp products across the US, but many consumers are looking for a trusted and safe place to buy them.
Edibles.com will offer a range of hemp products from well-known suppliers such as Cann and Wana, which have undergone strict compliance audits to ensure their production and sourcing meet high standards. The platform’s CEO, Somia Farid Silber, aims to provide a trusted and trustworthy marketplace for consumers to access high-quality hemp products.
Edibles.com will launch in Texas on Friday, with plans to expand nationwide quickly. The company has also secured a lease for a brick-and-mortar location in Atlanta and plans to open more physical locations in the future.
The launch of Edibles.com marks a significant milestone for the hemp industry, which is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. With the US projected to spend $4.5 billion on edibles alone by 2024, the market is ripe for innovation and expansion.
Edible Brands’ CEO Somia Farid Silber said that the company’s goal is to provide a platform that allows consumers to access high-quality hemp products in a safe and trusted environment. The company’s long-term plans include expanding its product offerings and exploring new markets, including making its own edibles.
