FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have released an overview trailer for Elden Ring Nightreign, a co-op survival action game that challenges players to take down the Nightlords in a shifting world. The game is set to launch on May 30, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
In Elden Ring Nightreign, cooperation is key. Players must work together to take down enemies, acquire items, and gain power to defeat the Nightlords. The trailer showcases the game’s unique features, including a roster of eight playable characters known as Nightfarers, each with their own abilities and playstyles.
Each Nightfarer can wield different weapons and bring their own skills and Ultimate Arts to the match. Players can also collect Relics and Memories, which can alter their character in interesting ways or unlock cosmetic costumes inspired by past FromSoft games.
The game’s ultimate goal is to defeat the Nightlords, but players will need to navigate a “loop” of scavenging during the day and fighting bosses at night. To succeed, players must gain experience and acquire items to enhance their power throughout the day.
The trailer also revealed that there are familiar faces among the bosses, including one similar to Astel, Naturalborn of the Void, and what appeared to be Godfrey. With a launch date set for May 30, 2025, fans can expect more information in the coming weeks as they prepare for Elden Ring Nightreign’s arrival.
