FromSoftware is developing a new standalone multiplayer co-op action survival game set in the ELDEN RING universe, titled ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN. The game will challenge players to work together in squads of three or solo to defeat the Nightlord.
In ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN, players must outlast a three-day-and-night cycle, making tough decisions about combat and exploration across changing maps. Each day, they’ll face powerful bosses, and if victorious, progress to bigger challenges on the third night when they must confront the chosen Nightlord.
Players can choose from eight unique characters with distinct abilities and powerful Ultimates. The game will feature a dynamic world where enemies, rewards, and map changes are ever-shifting, making each session unique. Players can customize their characters with relics earned from unsuccessful runs, allowing them to grow lasting stat bonuses.
ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN will launch in 2025 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The game promises a new experience from FromSoftware’s team, set in a parallel universe to the ELDEN RING events. With its unique blend of co-op multiplayer, action RPG elements, and dynamic world, ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN is an exciting addition to the ELDEN RING franchise.
