Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test to Run Additional Session Amid Server Issues

Elden Ring Nightreign’s first network test session has come to an end, and the developer is considering a second session due to server problems that affected the first test. The issues were severe enough that players struggled to find matches, with the PlayStation servers being particularly hard hit.

The network test, which allows three players to team up and battle against new terrors in Elden Ring Nightreign’s world, was only available for five sessions on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S from February 14 to February 17. The developer has apologized for the inconvenience caused by server issues but is working to improve stability.

The network stress test aims to evaluate various aspects of the online system’s functionality and performance before the full game launch in May. Players who had planned to try out Elden Ring Nightreign are frustrated, but the developer hopes that subsequent play sessions will run more smoothly.

FromSoftware has confirmed that the #NIGHTREIGN PlayStation servers are currently under maintenance and will provide further updates. The network test is a preliminary verification test of the game’s functionality before launch, with players encouraged to cooperate in making Elden Ring Nightreign even better.
