Elden Ring Nightreign Patch 1.02 to Ease Solo Play Experience

FromSoftware has announced a patch for Elden Ring Nightreign, aiming to improve the solo play experience. Patch 1.02, set to release next week, will address issues with solo expeditions and include bug fixes.

The game’s early days have been marked by criticism regarding its lack of a duos option and no voice chat, which has led to complaints about difficulty in solo play. FromSoftware acknowledges this and is moving to resolve these concerns.

The patch notes reveal that the update will add “Automatic Revival Upon Defeat,” allowing revival once per night boss battle for solo players. Additionally, the amount of runs gained will be increased.

This move marks the beginning of Elden Ring Nightreign’s balance journey as FromSoftware responds to fan feedback. Although a duos mode is currently under consideration, no release timeframe has been announced.

Despite these updates, the game has enjoyed a massive launch on Steam, with 313,593 peak concurrent users overnight. Players can expect more tips and tricks for tackling the Nightlord Bosses and unlocking classes in future articles.
