Electric State Falls Flat Despite Big Opening Week

The new Netflix film from the Russo Brothers, starring Chris Pratt and Milly Bobby Brown, cost $300 million to make and garnered 25.2 million views in its first week, but struggles to compare to other top-performing films on the platform. When compared to similar movies, such as Red Notice’s record-breaking 75.6 million views, or even The Gray Man’s 41.2 million views, The Electric State’s performance looks underwhelming. With a long way to go to reach the top 10 all-time view count, it seems that early buzz may have hurt its numbers, with many considering it an average film rather than a blockbuster hit.
