Eli Manning’s Favorite New Orleans Po’boy Joint

Eli Manning, the former NFL quarterback, has found his go-to spot when visiting his hometown of New Orleans – Domilise’s Po-Boys & Bar. This historic restaurant, which has been family-owned since 1918, serves up the city’s best-dressed po’boy, piled high with crispy shrimp, lettuce, tomato, and Creole mustard on soft Leidenheimer bread.

Manning’s love for the po’boy is no secret, and he always makes sure to stop by Domilise’s when returning to New Orleans. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Manning shared that his trips aren’t complete without trying one of their famous shrimp or fried shrimp po’boys, fully dressed. The sandwich has become a tradition for the Manning family, who even have a “Manning Wall of Fame” at the restaurant.

When Manning returns to New Orleans, he’s not just visiting – he’s also spending time with his parents and brothers Peyton and Cooper. His favorite part of going back is getting breakfast from his mom Olivia, but it sounds like another round of po’boys might be in order for the whole family this time around!
