Elon Musk Claims $2.5M Child Support Payment Amid Controversy

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has fired back at influencer Ashley St. Clair, claiming he’s given her $2.5 million in child support payments despite her claims that she was forced to sell her Tesla due to a 60% cut in payments.

In a recent X post, Musk denied the allegations and stated that he had made the payments despite not knowing for certain if the child is his own. He wrote: “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed.”

St. Clair, 26, claims she sold her Tesla to make ends meet after Musk allegedly cut off half of her son’s child support payments. She stated that Musk had not responded to her attempts to contact him since February 13 and had even been “vindictive” towards her.

Musk’s lawyer has declined to comment on the matter, but St. Clair first went public with the allegations on February 14 and later filed a paternity and custody lawsuit in a New York court. A gag order was recently imposed against St. Clair to prevent further discussion of the case.

The controversy surrounding Musk and St. Clair’s child support dispute has sparked debate about the billionaire’s personal life and treatment of his alleged children’s mothers.
