Influencer Ashley St. Clair has accused Elon Musk of financially retaliating against their 6-month-old son after she announced they share a child on social media. However, Musk denied the claims, stating he’s given her child support and sent over $2.5 million to date.
St. Clair claimed Musk was trying to control her since announcing the paternity, citing his refusal to take a paternity test and allegations of “financial retaliation” against their son’s child support. She also stated Musk had withdrawn most of the financial support, claiming he used it to punish her for disobedience.
Musk responded on Twitter, saying despite not knowing if the child is his, he’s given St. Clair child support and sent over $500,000 annually. He denied “financial retaliation” against their son.
The situation follows St. Clair filing a petition for sole custody with the New York Supreme Court, claiming Musk was not present at the infant’s birth and had limited involvement in his care. Her legal team stated Musk financially retaliated against their child and reduced financial support substantially.
Musk has also filed an emergency application to gag St. Clair from discussing the matter publicly, which the judge denied.
