Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has welcomed his fourth child, a son named Seldon Lycurgus, with executive at Neuralink Shivon Zilis. The news was announced by Zilis in a post on X on February 28. Musk shared a heart emoji in response to the announcement.
Zilis, who is also director of operations and special projects at Neuralink, shares three-year-old twins Stride and Azure, and one-year-old daughter Arcadia with Musk. This new addition brings Musk’s total number of children to 14.
Musk has been open about his desire for a big family in the past, jokingly referencing a Business Insider report that suggested he was secretly fathering his twins after they welcomed them in July 2022. He also tweeted: “I hope you have big families and congrats to those who already do!”
The news comes shortly after Ashley St. Clair announced on February 14 that she had given birth to Musk’s 13th child, R.S.C., just five months ago. A judge has ordered Musk to appear in court on May 29 over R.S.C.’s custody, and the case is now set to be heard in New York City.
