A report from The New York Times reveals that Musk used drugs like ketamine extensively during periods of personal turmoil, which coincided with his efforts to father many children. The claim suggests that he fathered another child with a Japanese pop star through sperm donation and was battling Grimes, real name Claire Boucher, over their 5-year-old son.
The Times spoke with Ashley St. Clair, a MAGA influencer who alleged that Musk had a secret love child with her. St. Clair claimed that Musk told her he had children with women across the globe, including one with a well-known Japanese pop star. The billionaire allegedly offered her $15 million and $100,000 per month in hush money to keep the child hidden.
Grimes has been at odds with Musk over custody of their son X Æ A-12 and accused him of violating their agreement. Musk frequently sees X at public events, despite agreeing to keep the children out of the spotlight. Grimes expressed concerns that this may be harming their son’s health due to lack of sleep.
Musk also has four children with Shivon Zilis, including twins conceived via sperm donation. A surrogate was already pregnant with the third child when those twins were born, causing tension in their relationship. Musk had a 2023 meeting in Austin, Texas, where representatives for a Japanese pop star asked him to be a sperm donor.
The Times report highlights Musk’s “messy” mission to populate the Earth by fathering many children. His use of ketamine coincided with this struggle, raising questions about his mental health and judgment. SpaceX did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the matter.
