Rebecca Yarros’s latest novel “Onyx Storm,” the third book in her “Empyrean” series, is set to hit shelves with a robust print run and impressive pre-orders. To address concerns raised by its predecessor, “Iron Flame,” Entangled Publishing has taken steps to ensure the quality of this latest release.
The publisher acknowledged misprint issues that affected “Iron Flame,” including damaged book edges, typos, and missing pages. In response, Entangled implemented changes to prevent similar problems with “Onyx Storm.” This includes a two-million-copy first print run for the deluxe edition, as well as investments in special equipment and digital printing techniques.
Entangled’s Art and Design team worked closely with printing partners to create gorgeous, collectible editions featuring sprayed edges with stenciled dragons. The publisher also developed deeper relationships with distributors and retail partners to handle a high volume of copies.
While misprints are inevitable, Entangled has set aside a small overprint to support customer exchanges. With “Onyx Storm” pre-orders exceeding one million across formats, anticipation is high. Fans can look forward to a spellbinding story within the beautifully designed package.
