In a recent update, several projects are moving forward in the entertainment industry.
Disney has announced plans to adapt the popular animated series Vampirina into a live-action musical drama. The show follows Vee, a tween vampire girl who navigates performing arts school while keeping her supernatural secret.
In another development, Ridley Scott is set to helm a new Alien film following the success of his recent project, Alien: Romulus. On the television front, Kate Siegel and David Dastmalchian are among the cast members for Mike Flanagan’s upcoming zombie post-apocalypse film, Epilogue.
On the TV side, The Penguin will receive a flashback episode with its season finale, while Disney is also developing an adaptation of Pinocchio: Unstrung, part of Robert Englund and Richard Brake’s appearances in this new Blood & Honey “Poohniverse” project. A live-action series based on Vampirina will premiere as well.
