EPCOT’s France Pavilion Closes After Fire Breaks Out Near Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

A fire broke out in a backstage walk-in cooler near Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at the France pavilion in EPCOT on March 22. The fire, which started at around 7 pm, was extinguished by 7:15 pm and did not cause any injuries. Cast Members evacuated the pavilion, closing attractions, dining, and retail locations temporarily. The France pavilion reopened to guests at 8:20 pm, with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure reopening shortly after at 8:45 pm. Impressions de France resumed operations before park closure at 9 pm.
